Laguiole en Aubrac is world renowned for superior knife production and has been since its inception in 1829. Our genuine Laguiole en Aubrac wine sommeliers are hand crafted in France by master knife makers with genuine prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory and 12c27 sandvik stainless steel. Each professional waiter's style corkscrew features a 5 turn spiral, serrated blade cutter, and built in bottle opener. Approximately 4.75" long closed.

Our Laguiole en Aubrac sommelier includes a certificate of authenticity, and is enclosed in a wood box for presentation and safekeeping.

Available in “cream” which may have cream to tan shades present, and “bark” which is cut from the exterior portion of the fossil tusk and presents more color such as cream, tan, brown, and a more rough or natural looking texture.

Prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory is found by chance in Alaska, Canada, Russia, and Siberia, and may range in age from 10,000 to 200,000 years. Colors are natural and may vary from photo due to the organic composition of these fossil materials. Woolly mammoth ivory is the traditional (and eco conscious!) 14th wedding anniversary gift. The woolly mammoth is also Alaska's state fossil.
