Each pendant is a one of a kind piece of art that has been hand scrimshawed in the US by our master scrimshanders on prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory and set with sterling silver.
This specific forget me not flower bunch with open petals sterling silver setting pendant was designed by Courtney Tripp and hand scrimshawed by master scrimshander Peter Kinney. Approximately 1 1/2” tall X 3/4” to 7/8” wide depending on piece.
Prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory is found in Alaska, Canada, Russia, and Siberia. Fossil mammoth materials range in age from 10,000 to 200,000 years.
The forget me not is Alaska’s state flower, and the prehistoric woolly mammoth is Alaska’s state fossil!
