Courtney Tripp Reeder
Courtney’s love affair with jewelry began in childhood, sketching designs and selling handmade pieces outside her family’s storefronts in Alaska. That early creative spark never faded. After graduating with honors in Cinema Studies from the University of Washington, she fell in love with the glamour of Old Hollywood—especially its unforgettable jewelry and wardrobe.
Her passion for vintage design deepened when her grandmother passed down a treasure trove of brooches and earrings, each carrying its own story. Inspired, Courtney set out to create jewelry that is just as timeless and meaningful to the wearer.
In 2009, she launched Emerald Trunk- a bold, vintage-inspired collection crafted with eco-conscious materials like prehistoric mammoth ivory and vintage and reclaimed ebony wood set with sterling silver and 14k gold.
Today and for the past 20 years, Courtney has been the Ivory Jacks lead jewelry designer. Blending history, sustainability, and style in her collections which are carried by select fine retailers nationwide and at ivoryjacks.com . Inviting wearers to adorn themselves with pieces that tell a story of their own.
